Yes, because they are synonym words.

The gender symbols are used to denote biological sex in scientific literature, and any dictionary before gen z said this:

"Gen-der n., Gram. Any of two or more categories, as feminine, masculine, or neuter, into which words are devided and which determine agreement with or selection of modifiers or grammatical forms; the quality of being of the male or female sex."

Source: A physical copy of Webster's Dictionary - circa 1997 - Landoll, Inc.

*Feminine, masculine, and neuter, are refering to types of genitalia.

Because they are synonyms, and because sex as a verb exists, gender was used to note the reproductive body parts, and sex was used to note what you do with them.
Using sex as a noun was limited to scientists and medical facilities for the most part, to nearly everyone else, gender was the noun, sex was the verb.

I don't think gen z deserves to rewrite word definitions based on changed views in their generation, since their educations were pushed through and full of nonsense.

Some people say they are more than 2 genders in the 21st century.
That sounds stupid to me. There is only 2 genders

      Yeah that is stupid.

Even a hermaphrodite is still only 2 genders.

What do they even think a third is? What would it produce besides eggs or sperm? 😂 Even the male parts of plants, something extremely distant in relation to us, produces pollen, which is functionally still a kind of sperm.

Some people call themself things like gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender.
      This sounds stupid to me.

You are either a man or woman

I do not. I understand that I do not get to decide how English works and recognize that it evolves with time. Regardless of my personal beliefs on the matter, those words are no longer synonyms. Though you could swap the definitions of sun and moon and it wouldn't really change what we're taking about, would it?

Sex and gender identity means the same thing for people who don’t have Gender dysphoria.

    Gender dysphoria is an illness.

Nope. You can't have Sex dysphoria but you can have Gender dysphoria ya know why? Because they are not the same thing. Sex dysphoria would make zero sense because that means your body would be confused. Gender makes sense because your mentally confused.
There is no uncertainty when it comes to Sex but when it comes to Gender for sure is, one could try argue intersex is the body been confused but not really. The body can't be actively confused like our brains. Intersex is just natural biological variations of chromosomes not that somehow they get confused because welp a chromosome can't be lol.

Ehh, I’ve always said there’s a social aspect and a scientific one. If a tranny goes to the doctor they’re gonna talk about their scientific gender and all that entails medically.

I don’t get why society is having this many problems getting used to this. Frankly it’s none of our business. Freedom.

That's the English definition that I see in the dictionary...

    Gender: Sexual identity.

Therefore someone's biological sex, is their gender.

They are not. Sex is XX or XY Chromosomes. Gender is a linguistic construct to assign sex to word use.
