I’m in my 20s, this will be my 25th Halloween since my birthday is next month but I absolutely love to dress up still, decorate, watch scary movies, and trick or treat. How about you?
Yes, I just wish I could do more with it. Where I am, now, is nothing like where I lived most of my life!! There (4 miles from here), almost everyone decorated their house and, on the night, there were thousands of kids roaming the streets getting candy and then, after the candy hand-outs, they'd all go over to the boro building, about 3 blocks from my house, and my neighbor would dress up as Elvis Presley (although, he looks more like Neil Diamond!) and play Halloween records and such for the kids to dance to in the street and then there'd be a costume contest and the three best from each age range would win a prize ($10, I think) and then they'd go to the back of the building, the fire department, and get another small bag of treats and then go home.
(When I was a kid, before my neighbor moved in, in the late `70's, we'd all go to the school about 8 blocks away and they'd either show a few cartoons or short movies or the town magician would put on a show for us and, after the show, we'd all get handed a bag of candy.)
Up here, I'll sit on the front porch with a couple bags of candy to give away and possibly play Halloween music on the laptop and I'm lucky if I get 5 kids to come by! I'm used to getting at least 100 at MY house but, up here, last year, I think I got 5 kids all in one group, the previous year I got ONE kid, a little girl about 4 years old! The year before that I got 3 kids! There's no point to going out to buy bags of candy!! If I do, I can give each kid an entire bag!!

I am 29 and will be dressing up as a cop while my wife will be dress up as a prisoner. Plus, I love watching the old Halloween classics
