Have you ever had a good picture on your ID/license?

I feel like they always do people dirty. I got a new mil ID today (for the 4th time in the last 18 months🙄) and I've never had a good pic but today was the worse. And the guy making the ID had the nerve to say it was a good picture 😒 my license pictures have been bad to cause I keep getting them done while I'm pregnant. Maybe I just have bad luck with these types of pics

My first couple of DL's were really good. My last one was, I would have had no problem using that as the photo at my funeral, good. Then I needed to renew, was having a terrible hair day...of course, the lady was like 1, 2 snap, and what she showed me was so zoomed in to my face, I was like wth, and then she zoomed out because I have big hair, and well, this camera was perfectly positioned under my chin, not a good angle, and my eyes were kind of wonky, and now I'm stuck until 2031 unless I "lose it," but it's such a pain in the --- to deal with the DMV, that whatever.

My first driving license had a great photo. My second license had a terrible photo, I was having a bad day and I had resting bitch face 😂. I’ve got my third license now, did my photo for it last week, and I look much nicer in this new one than my 2nd one!

And they don't even show it to you or ask you for a second. Come on... It's all digital now !! Not like they are wasting the development effort and paper.

This time, mine looks like I'm mad at something. I was not ready and thought the camera was looking from an angle straight ahead. It was in fact at a higher level than me (and 8 feet away). My kids laugh at it everytime they get hold of my D/L.

Hey remember, I work for a CA state agency, and WE take pictures. My camera is a camera,,,,,, not a magic wand? LOLOL

I said to this guy once..."Smile, damnit"! and he replied it was the best license photo he had ever had taken... Relax, smile!

I have black and white picture on ID and colored one on Driving license. I look good on Driving license but on ID I look 20 years older than that pic was made. I think they use software with some aging filter on ID pictures or their offset printing machine is very bad. I guess with a mugshot from ID card no one would ever recognize me.

Only once in my life.
It was my second dod ID. I was off work and ready for it. The airmen there were nice and hooked me up. All other IDs I’ve taken were trash. In general, I’m not very photogenic. I look better in videos and real life. Prob cause posing is just awkward.

It probably depends a lot on the DMV you get the picture taken at. At my local DMV they will let you take the picture as many times as you want until you get the one you like. I've been to other DMVs though that only let you take one or two pictures and you're stuck with it.

Yea I actually like my drivers license photo, the camera was good and everything so my jawline was visible unlike most cameras that make my face look fatter
