How resistant are you to alcohol?

I once drank an entire bottle of Jack Daniels when I was in my 20s. Thankfully, a friend drove me home. When I got home, I went to my room, took off my pants, sat down on the edge of my bed, and urinated. I fell back and slept for 10 hours. Then, I woke up vomiting. I couldn’t keep anything down until the next day. I went through 2 gallons of water (I kept throwing up the water). Never touched that stuff again.

I'm lightweight, so I mind the amount. I know my shallow limits pretty well so I drink only at home, after a good meal, slowly and only until I get tipsy :D

I used to be quite tolerant with Vodka (40%), but I drink so little alcohol these days, that it would knock me out.

There is excellent tasting vodka, like Absolut. I used to be on a number of Russian parties and vodka is what they drink between dishes.

Icecold vodka is hardly smelling at all, as I remember. The expensive single malts I tried were pungent. A weird mix of earth, burnt plastic and turpentine. 🤢

? I am talking about the smell of single malt whiskeys. I never had any negative experiences with Absolut vodka, which is Swedish, by the way.

I can easily drink 12-15 beers or 2-3 bottles of wine, keep it together, and not have a hang over the next day.

i’m such a light weight now i can only have a couple beers or one glass of scotch, i used to be able to drink a whole 5th of whisky then go out drinking at least a 6 pack of beer for the rest of the night.
