What is the last nightmare you had?

If I am aware of it I don't count it as a nightmare, luckily for me they are very rare.
The last one I had was genuinely terrifying me though.
I was in an office building / jail of sorts and everyone was normal but I was being processed for some reason. Suddenly everyone around me was starting to behave odd towards me, and slowly began getting more and more corrupt.
They all began walking towards me as if they were zombies but with regular slow walking. They could sense I was still normal and clean, so then one woman grabbed my arm warning me while part of her still could and she communicated to me telepathically. I began seeing flashes now very rapidly, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and finally 2027 where everyone had been fully corrupt.
She showed me that satanic energy was slowly infecting everyone's subconscious and basically predicted more and more people would act completely out of wack and evil until all good in the world was gone and everyone was as miserable as they were. It would happen in the coming years and be done by 2027. While she did it I basically saw flashes of how corrupt every year was as I felt the energy try to take me over as well, but somehow I was the most resistant person so i'd be last.
They still behaved like humans, but what was gone was their soul. They had no opinion of their own anymore, basically just conformed with the mainstream and had no unique personality. My dream drew inspiration of that of people who didn't develop themselves and just go with whatever the TV tells them, and assigned that to the meaning that these people lost their souls and that the energy causing that was also coming for me as well as everyone else I loved, infecting us trough our subconscious without anything we could do.
So realistic soul erasure causing a realistic version of soulless zombies combined with a prediction for real life. I don't believe the dream of course, but that one had me on edge for an hour afterwards.
Died in a car accident & woke up to pitch black sleep paralysis. It was barely scary tho. 4/10
It is a large building, and I know I recognize its shape from somewhere, but right here and now, I can't recall. I enter and walk through a corridor that I know should be illuminated and filled with people, but it's empty, with only a few flickering, broken light bulbs. I hear a piercing scream from a woman and pleas for help. And I'm sure I know her. Then I hear a child crying. And I know there are two children, so I run down the corridor, listening for when the second child will start crying. But there's only silence, and the corridor seems endless...
This morning I had a nightmare that I was five months pregnant. Now I do want to be preggers one day soon just not this soon.
I misread preggers as peggers which turned the whole thing upside downššš

I had a dream that I was buying choc chip cookies from the bakery and was accompanied there by my security guard and driver. When I was handed a bag of six cookies, I was told that it would be $250. I asked what makes the cookies so special and I was told that was the price. I asked what the price was per cookie and was told it was $25 a cookie. Nothing made sense and I refused to buy the cookies but I felt ashamed that this happened in front of my staff. I could afford but felt that it wasn't a fair deal. I woke up horrified about the cookies. Weirdest dream ever because I never dream about money.
i could probably suggest that you've at least heard of problems amongst the staff. even the smallest pressure at work can cause one to sort them out. it doesn't even have to be your employees, but a bag of six makes me think so. if you were offered a pay cut for more staff or a pay raise that might clarify. yet in the back of your mind, when you go to lunch you find the menu rise in pricing. and it doesn't stop.
if that's not it think about child support, stocks or other financial institutions that you feel wary of.
Lol a prophet of a coming inflation or a coming recession? Sorry I couldn't resist a sassy comment, however sympathies for your really whacky dream. Goodness š²

@systemsareyo haha, time to erase the cookies from the hard drive again lol
The most recurring one is that I'm stuck in the middle of the ocean, on a little boat that it's about to sink, and I feel there is something in the water - maybe a shark, maybe an octopus. I can't really control this time of nightmares.
The most recent one I won't describe because it's too weird/personal, but I looked it up (it's way more common than I thought) and essentially it's the fear of both disappointing and being exploited from the particular person that appeared in the dream.
In the midst of a fight with PTSD, they were nightly. Usually more than one. Now, with that behind me, Iād say one a month and they are more scary than the deep rooted fear the old ones used to have which I felt even hours after waking.
Last night. I woke up after I drowned in a tsunami. It was pretty wild too because it was a long dream that had nothing to do with water or anything dangerous.
Are you near a tsunami prone part of the world? Hmm.
Or you'd been watching a repeat of the scenes from 1998 Deep Impact, or the movie 2012, from 2012
No there is very little danger of one where I live. Found out some new medication Iām on can cause nightmares. Just not sure where that particular theme came from.
If there are no negative interactions with the medication then cyproheptadine is a treatment for nightmares. But honestly just drowning in a tsunami sounds fucking adventurous. It's worse when you have boring dreams, probably my main fear in real life too, just long fucking boring existence, or interacting with people I hate.
I was a little girl and played with Monster High dolls, suddenly they turned in pink Barbies. That's a horror.
Uhh, I've had more recent different ones, the older ones I remember maybe months or a year ago: I have an overdue assignment, even though I'm 29 and haven't studied since 19. What the hell did I forget lol (essay, assignment). Lol. Amazing how scary real a nightmare can feel, when you wake up, slower than the movies, yet still awake feeling "scared" lol and then realising lol, what a, what a dream 😁👀🥵
Legit, sometimes 'fear' can feel so real, even in a dream and passed a few seconds after awaking realising "oh.." it was just a dream and now I'm awake. And forget šš
I was an ant running in a maze, kept calling for my man but he can't hear me because I'm too small 🥲🥲
I had one where my hubby died. Scared the f outta me
I have had a few bad dreams, but no nightmares since I was seven. I learned how to stop them.
I was back in high-school working at a fast food joint. I almost never think of that. So I have no Idea what triggered that dream.
I dreamt a stranger was breaking into my house
I am usually being chased by dogs.
"these sausages will help me escape" throws sausages while running ššššš
Uh, last night...
I don't remember 🤔
