How did my uncle blow through millions of dollars?

Number one when my great grandparents died. He took EVERYTHING… Inherited millions and blew it all. Now he begs people for money all the time and acts like a victim.

It is very common for people who are given / inherit large amounts of money to blow through it quickly. They seem to get a mindset that it will never run out.
