So lately I have been going through the pregnancy symptoms of cravings especially stuff I hate eating. And not being able to eat what I love. I can't even smell candles anymore without my stomach feeling weird. But my recent one that made me say WTF to myself and I didn't do it. On Friday I was craving a cigarette!! Now I don't even smoke. I was never curious, I never had a " oh let me try it" 1 puff and I'm done. I never really linger around anyone that is smoking. I just don't like cigarettes smell. But for some reason I really wanted one. Now I work full time 8 hr shift so for the whole 8 hrs and 15 mins I wanted a cigarette. After it went away I didn't have that craving feeling anymore thank goodness.

I’m 8 months pregnant at the moment. I’ve had many cravings over these months, but nothing crazy. My cravings have consisted of banana & bacon on waffles, ben & jerrys cookie dough icecream, cherry tomatoes, avocado, salt & vinegar chips, soda (I’m normally a water-only person), chicken & mayonnaise sandwiches, chocolate, and my latest craving has been these specific bacon, egg & cheese pies from a local bakery - I’ve been eating one almost everyday for the past 2 weeks, it’s hard to ignore a craving. Those have been all my cravings in order, I think the waffles craving started at 12 weeks pregnant.
Oh yes ice cream is always a crave and I will dip chips in it and eat it. Yesterday I was dipping flaming hot Cheetos and green peppers in my peanut butter. I also ordered a double cheeseburger and added my peanut butter in it.
Yes I like peanut butter but it has become my best friend and go to when eating something.
I dislike any kind of tomatoes and onions but I love eating them now. I honestly wish I can eat eggs. I can't even smell it without feeling nauseous and I love eggs. Still love my bacon though just had some and I chopped it up and added it in my popcorn with maple syrup
I’ve always hated cherry tomatoes, and salt & vinegar chips, but I couldn’t ignore the cravings.
Do you know if you’re having a boy or girl? Some people say that if you’re having a girl then you crave more sweet foods or fresh produce like fruits & veggies, and if you’re having a boy, then you crave more savoury foods or protein foods like meats, eggs, etc. I don’t know how much truth there is to that belief though.
It's just weird to crave things you hate and it's like a must have at all times just in case you have that crave.
I have heard of that actually but I'm still early in my pregnancy. I'm in the middle it's always both for me. Like as soon I eat something really sweet I have to eat something savory or spicy
Definitely weird, I agree with that.
Oh, well I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy, and good luck with the cravings! Hopefully you don’t crave any super weird foods.
