It'd probably just be another year and another birthday for me. Maybe when I'm 30+, I can learn how it feels. But until then I have many years later to become 40.

The same way I would feel turning 40 for 2 days and 3 days it's not that big of a deal just keep going forward make sure you get a birthday cake though

I think it was more the buildup. I was 37...38... then 39 and boom. Nothing really happened. It's perception. 40 is only the end of you if you believe it is. I'm happier now at over 40 then I was under 40.

  As I’m getting older I’ve realized rely on yourself, and even nonsense from family, if they can’t respect your input and always need to make snarky comments to distance myself from them, the older I get the less I want to tolerate other people’s bullshit.   nah dont say that man, if you're 27 you should be using your youth to experience this world by travelling, exploring, trying new foods. My whole thing with the concept of 40 is accomplishing life goals -- marriage, own place, peace of mind, etc.

  No. I have an older sister who has let all of the landmark birthdays go to her head. It’s easier to avoid the pitfalls when you watch someone else step directly into them. Ell oh ell!
