What is it like to turn 30?

I am kind of dreading it. I already feel "old" and not in my prime anymore. I can already feel my body getting weaker. My testosterone levels are low right now too (about to be addressed).

I finally have my very first real relationship/girlfriend. It took me 29 years to finally get a girlfriend.

Although that is happy news, along with job stability and friends, I cannot help but to feel sad.

My mom has always been my rock growing up. It just seems like she interacts very little with me now. It seems like she is pushing my away and we argue all the time.

In addition, I am just watching the moral decline and destruction of our country before my eyes. Everything is overcrowded, expensive, and a stress to deal with.

I am kinda realizing too how little meaning there really is in life. We will all be forgotten one day. Nothing we do is ever really sustainable. Good things will come to an end. I think the priority is to maintain comfort and individual happiness until the inevitable end of life.

I actually primed in my 30s in every way: socially, physically, emotionally, financially: best years of my life.

Someone asked us on here if we could return to any age, what would it be? I went with 35; that was really my sweet spot where I had everything down.

I'm hoping 40s will be pretty good but they've sucked balls so far with the pandemic situation for the first few years.

I agree. For the most part, my success hasn't really arrived up until recently at almost 30. I hope and pray I can maintain it long term.

Hope things work out for you! 30s can be totally awesome. 20s was a struggle for me trying to find my place in the world as an adult, teens were awkward (wasn't exactly prom king type). 30s was where it was at for me in my life.
