Life? It may not be another Earth. That would require water and an oxygen rich atmosphere. But biological life as we know it can almost certainly exist with more or less water and a significant deviation in atmospheric composition. it would also need to be in the "Goldilocks Zone", not too close or too far from it's local star for energy but not deadly levels of energy. 1.6 X Earth gravity is probably not a deal breaker either.
If the conditions falls into a range, we know the building blocks of life are common in the universe. So then time is required for probability and random chance to bring together the components of the amino acids that start the ball rolling. And more time for "life" to emerge.
Has all that happened on Kepler-452b? Maybe. Maybe not. Is it possible? Yes.
One more twist that can't be escaped (pun intended). At 1.6X Earth gravity, getting into space will be a lot more difficult for anything that does pop up in Kepler-452b.
There are approximately over 2 trillion galaxies in the OBSERVABLE universe. The Milky Way (our galaxy, for those who don't know) is just one of those 2+ trillion. There are already species found on our planet that do not need oxygen to survive, meaning other species could potentially survive or thrive on other elements. There are already species (mostly deep sea creatures) found on our planet that live in much different pressures than land animals. And there are more than a few planets they have found that have similar compositions to Earth.
Putting 2 and 2 together, it's illogical to think there isn't other life out there in the universe. If we'll ever be able to traverse the universe to find these places is another story, as they're thousands to billions of light years away from us and the fastest thing we have ever made to date is NASA's solar probe, which reached top speeds of 692,000 km/h or 430,000 mph. Whereas the speed of light is approximately 186,000 miles per SECOND. Meaning (if I did my math right) it would take NASA's solar probe approximately 1550 years for it to travel a single light year. We're far from having the technology to explore the universe, but perhaps AI will speed up the time it will take soon.
Kepler-452b has high metallicity, it's likely planets around this star contain similar amount of heavy element like planets around sol. Metal poor planets will be probably less suitable for life like ours.
If there is fluid water, there will be very likely some primitive life.
However it's 1800 light years away, so no one of us will ever find out if there is life or not.
Life could exist on Mercury or Pluto for all we know, just not the kind of life we would recognize with our current knowledge. So it is very likely life exists elsewhere in the 13 billion light-year wide universe, comprising trillions of galaxies and exponentially larger numbers of stars and planets.

@SabinaV I have never had any doubt that life exists in just about every place that we have any visibility into. That fact that life began here some hundreds of millions of years ago is really proof that it could easily exist on many other planets and in other Galaxies. Andromeda probably has more life that the Milky Way Galaxy, and I am sad I will not be alive to see us discover it.
they have found -potential-like- for some forms of organic compounds in Mars...
places like 452B are more adept for the same things to happen, so... I think that is more likely for some of these "pre-life" ingredients to cook up over there
Life was easy on earth. Earth is 4.5 billion yo and there are some indicators there was organic life after 4.1 billion. Certainly by 3.5 billion.
After that it is just random mutations that lead to complex life. But it needs water and there is nothing to say there was or is on Kepler 452B.
Untill then it has to be a Dunno.
We’ll never know, it’s only 1400 years away if you’re traveling at 186,000 miles per second. There’s no images of the planet, all they know is that a star got briefly dimmer when something passed in front of it every 385 days. Anything else about the planet is just bullshit speculation.
Maybe these probes will find out? :-)

Any place that has water there is like that we don't know about even on our own planet I would say yes I would say yes until somebody proved it wrong it's Common Sense really
I know so little about astronomy and this sort of thing, but it would be wild to think life exists there.
I don't know. I just visited there, and it seems to have quite a few cats. My cat, Allister, assures me that it's a very well-known cat vacation spot, so I guess yes, there is life there, definitely.
We appreciate your feedback, Allister.

Yes. 🛸
No clue. If it's not on that planet, it's on another one. Statistically seen it's almost 100% guaranteed that there is some life out there.

― Arthur C. Clarke
Very possible it HAD life but it probably massacred itself if it is older than our life.
We can never get there so it doesn't matter 1400 light years away.
I hardly believe so. You'd think these fuckers with come up with other names than numbers followed by a letter though..
Did you know we've identified over 6000 planets outside on the solar system?
@AngryCarl3 Where's planet Jezebel?
Nope. Not unless we put it there someday. I don't think life exists anywhere else. I think we are the cosmic eden. Depressing I know, but reality.
Probably some kind of life, if only mould. In my experience mould gets everywhere.
This existence started +420,420,000 years ago if I never time traveled So existence started Less than 55yrs ago
Only humans are on earth. Life like plants or bacteria might be out there
Don't know but im sure aliens are somewhere
sure. they probably have already visited Earth
We don't even know how precisely how far away Kepler 452B is from Earth. Estimates suggest between 1,400 to 1,800 light years.
@AngryCarl3 at warp 7 or 8 it won't take long at all.
Earth is flat, stop the confusion. Praise God!
I think it's quite possible.
Thats where the orcs live in my mind
Might be but i don't think so 🤷🏻♂️
We'll never really know.
there is loads of lie out there maybe so
It could happen.
