Do you believe there is any truth to the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder?

Absolutely. I think beauty is subjective to a large extent. What one person finds attractive might not appeal to someone else at all. People have different tastes, preferences, and things they notice in others. I've also noticed that personality, confidence, mannerisms, and the way someone carries themselves can make a person much more attractive. Physical appearance might catch your attention, but beauty is not always as straightforward as what you see in a mirror. 😊

Absolutely, a lot of it is subjective.

Any truth? Yes. A lot of truth? No.

Some people like to say on this sight that beauty is subjective but it's really not. If that were true than there would be no super models. We have societals standards about what is attractive and what is not. It doesn't mean someone can't or won't find you attractive. It just means it'll have to be the right person, and you'll have to have other things to offer to make up for your deficiencies.

Sort of. A large part of physical attractiveness is healthy signs of fertility, just as one wouldn't be horny without a reproductive system so there needs to be a recipient reproductive system of your horniness. But there are behaviors that act as boner killers and as erectogens, separate from physicality. A rude person naturally makes us feel stressed and sometimes scared for life, so a respectful and smart and funny person relaxes our smooth muscles.

Yes, I do. If we're talking about people, then someone may become more beautiful to us as we get to know them.

Of course, it is a proven fact of life.

Do you not understand preferences and subjectiveness?
