How many ear piercings are too many?

i have 2 on my right ear and 3 on my left ear. they are all tiny little stud earrings and they are all on my earlobe (normal part where you pierce it) not the top of my ear or anything.

on the ear with 3 you really only notice two of them because the second piercing is very close to my first one.

my sister is very conservative when it comes to what she considers trashy and she even likes the piercings.

It doesn't matter what people say is too much or too little. Its your body and your the only one able to decide that. For a long time I had 00's in my lobes, an industrial on both sides, eyebrow, lebrae and my nipple done. I had some tell me it was too many and some told me it was hot. What you have to ask yourself is, if someone tells you that one is one too many, will you let it effect who you are and change for someone else? I would hope not.

5/6 split upper ear & lobe, is the most before it gets to really be too many per ear.
