It's still a bit immature. if she trusted you enough to show herself then maybe you should take the high road and just block her or ignore her as opposed to doing this. Although, she would be the only person to know
Oh, our conversation was cut. No. A mod came through here. A few of the answers were removed cause all they were doing is calling me a spoiled brat. But I didn't report you
As I stated, I'm still in college. I have to go to grad school and either get a masters or I can get my Ph.d
And the options within the field are going into the education system or healthcare system. I can work with kids/students or I can work with the elderly/older disabled
But yes, salary matters. As I also said there's a certain lifestyle I'd like to maintain.
Either way, I'm not 100% set on going into that field. I have a backup plan in case I switch last minute. I'm double majoring and wouldn't mind finding work with either.
okay then take it one step at a time...or decide what you want to do...no point of telling you exactly the two fields when you are still wishy washy about your major. in addition, will you have school loan when you are done.
you need to decide what you want to do... there is no set salary to be spoken for at the moment...focus and research and decide...
at this point you have not the qualification to speak for life style choice till you are done with school, loan and on your own.
My parents are paying my loans off for me. Even then, I won't graduate with more than like $10,000 worth of loans.
And as I mentioned, I DO want to maintain a certain lifestyle because I grew up a certain way. I also want to provide the same lifestyle for my children. It's perfectly reasonable to take that into consideration when choosing a job.
I'm not bragging about anything. And even then, I wouldn't brag. A career is a career. And whether it's becoming a lawyer, a pharmacist, an elementary school teacher or a pilot, it's certainly nothing to brag about because a career is something one should WANT to go into. And if they WANT to go into it then they wouldn't feel the need to brag about it and they wouldn't be bothered by others bragging.
What do you mean what do I know? There are a variety of jobs within those fields. I gave you 2 broad fields. The healthcare field could mean anything. Education could mean anything. For all you know I might be a bio major which would mean I could go premed or become a bio teacher or professor.
just so you know I am living the lifestyle you want...so call me what you want lol
i own two 2 million dollar homes in NY...
i am in one of the careers you mentioned...
i have no debt...my tenants pays for all my mortgage. I have the 2 carat ring you have been dreaming about...so...call me clueless...all you wish...and you can continue to WANT...till you wake up...you will still be in your dream...till you work in the real world and learn to make life decissions, you are still just a kid who
is trying to explore and you will hit some road blocks...until you pay your own bill for a yr. then you can call yourself an adult...saying about your parents and all are not relevant to this topic of discussion.
very well...do you know the salary diff. between those two occupations? do you know the work hours? do you know the diff. between a teacher and a professor? the diff. between an elementary school teacher and high school teacher? do you know how you will become a professor?
If anything, apparently I'm a 'spoiled rich brat' to people on here. The difference is, because it was the lifestyle I was raised in, I don't feel the need to "brag" about it. Some people do. I know I'm privileged and I want to maintain that lifestyle.
Sounds to me like you're a bit butthurt. And judging by your bad grammar, it's unlikely you even have a job.
I also think your comprehension is rather terrible. I never said that is my major. I simply stated it COULD be for all you know, because there are a variety of careers within both fields.
Yes, I know how I would enter into either field. Hence why I said I would need to get my masters. Unless I choose to further my education in the field and get a Ph.d, a masters will suffice.
hahaah as you wish...lol...you apparently didn't respond to my knowledge of the career path I mentioned lol...
little girl, I do not need to prove to you ... I have what I earned for all the years I put it...you are way too focused on your lifestyle ...till you wake up...i am living the style you are dreaming about ... and I am able to tell you all the things I listed...you haven't answer me one bit with what I asked.
okay...go on...answer the rest of the questions...then you will have a better idea to eliminate and focus on eventually one at the end...we can't stay in school forever...at this point you do have to start doing more research for ea. field and just major in one, or double in something similar...some you may not need a Ph.D
i worked my life...only stayed home for 2/3 yrs. for my children...but that's not the lifestyle I wanted...i wanted to be with the society. stay home mom was boring.
you made me laugh...sigh...okay another night wasted with you...
i have giving you specific about what you are looking for...you haven't answer anything I asked which is for you...and to help you understand at this point, to focus on your career path...looking at salary...ahhaha sure...yet..you don't even know how much ea. get pay...i can give you the list...
pry for what? like I said, I am living the lifestyle you have always wanted...
what you have is from your parents...unless you planning
on living with you parents forever to maintain their lifestyle...you do have to do some work on your own...coming here and telling people about what you want is just trying to get attention...we all want something...that goal has to be realistic.
one step at a time...and focus on what I mentioned so that you can decide on the career you want. do some research.
i am happy where I am. making more than what you are asking if its reasonable lol. when you get a job, its not a choice to ask, oh I wonder if this salary is reasonable lol...anyway
in this economy...hopefully it will be better when you are done with school and decide what you to do with your career...you will be lucky to even get a job.
my job is very secure. I have credential that the profession needs me...i don't think you understand what I mean
those are your favorite words when you are not educated and not yet graduated and not yet live on your own or pay your own bills...and still rely on your parents.
thats the right attitude :) keep it up gosh...sound like I am talking to a 2 yr. old lol
by the way, I am not the one here to ask about salary or telling people my parents pay everything for me. At your age, I would be ashame to mention that I still rely on my parents and want their lifestyle, hey, you are lucky, let see how that goes in a few yrs. I forgot, your other goal, get married to a wealthy man who will give you a 2 carat ring and be a stay at home mom.
And my boyfriend comes from a wealthy family, sure. And I go to a private school with other wealthy kids. I come from a well to do family. Chances are I'll marry someone from the same socioeconomic level.
Sounds to me like you're dreaming and wishing you lived the life you claim to live. All you can repeat is 2 carat ring when that means nothing to me. But I guess that's the poor mentality
i am not the one here asking about if $65k is good...when you have no concept of money.
since you are all set with a wealthy bf...there is not need for you to worry about.
i already told you what I have, what I know and what I do...no need to explain more. I lived your life. you are still dreaming.
changing your name here doesn't change your personality...again, wait till you starting paying your own bill then ask. otherwise become a future trophy wife...and there is nothing wrong with that.
It's mostly dependent on the level of education received. Those with a Ph.d start out at around $70,000 I believe. I would be working a job where there isn't much mobility (and I'm fine with that!), though I could maybe move on to being a professor as well.
I think in the long run it would likely only go up to maybe $80,000 and that's pushing it. Unless I consider going for the ph.d then it would be around $100,000 at the most. But like I said, it's not too popular in Dallas or North Texas.
I think in this career field it's difficult to define what 'moving up' is exactly

Thats a pretty good salary. Look at different major salaries and that is one of the higher ones..
Engineers make around the same starting.
lmao@ your picture
You really like asses I see
That's kinda mean...
It's still a bit immature. if she trusted you enough to show herself then maybe you should take the high road and just block her or ignore her as opposed to doing this. Although, she would be the only person to know
its not immature. you really have no idea what she said or did so how can you comment or judge? she gets what she gets because of her actions.
To me it's only the internet...but then again I am probably the most disliked person here so I'm immune to everything
hah, I don't think people dislike you as much as you think.
did you report my comment?
What comment?
Oh, our conversation was cut. No. A mod came through here. A few of the answers were removed cause all they were doing is calling me a spoiled brat. But I didn't report you
ah ok.. I have a handful of haters now so I'm not surprised. its weird the mod removed them though since I didn't name anyone specific
what field is that? will you be certain that you will get a job when you are done with school? at this point is the salary all that important?
it really doesn't matter how much your parents make...they are much older and have live long to work hard to get to where they are.
Yes, salary is important.
you have landed the job? and you have options to chose from?
As I stated, I'm still in college. I have to go to grad school and either get a masters or I can get my Ph.d
And the options within the field are going into the education system or healthcare system. I can work with kids/students or I can work with the elderly/older disabled
But yes, salary matters. As I also said there's a certain lifestyle I'd like to maintain.
ahhaha okay...if you want to true I can share...but I don't think you can handle the true lol
i know those two fields well..you might wish to do some research prior to thinking about salary...
I'm not sure what exactly you're talking about...
Either way, I'm not 100% set on going into that field. I have a backup plan in case I switch last minute. I'm double majoring and wouldn't mind finding work with either.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is full of crap
listen little girl...until you get your $100.k salary job...you have nothing!
what you WANT and what's reality are two different things. I do want that...and guess what? I made it...and I know how I got here...
you better reconsider your life options...its not about what you WANT!
get the job then come here to brag!
I'm not bragging about anything. And even then, I wouldn't brag. A career is a career. You sound rather clueless.
what do you know about those fields you mentioned?

I don't have to dream about that lifestyle cause I live it :) sorry to burst your bubble
And I have enough research already :) sounds to me like you're just prying
you made me laugh...sigh...okay another night wasted with you...
i have giving you specific about what you are looking for...you haven't answer anything I asked which is for you...and to help you understand at this point, to focus on your career path...looking at salary...ahhaha sure...yet..you don't even know how much ea. get pay...i can give you the list...

How could I have always wanted that lifestyle when it's something I have?
And I doubt you'd even be able to give me any valuable information.

Yeah, you sound retarded. And foreign. So bye
those are your favorite words when you are not educated and not yet graduated and not yet live on your own or pay your own bills...and still rely on your parents.
unappreciated with what you have...sad
I'm educated. How do you think I got into university? lmao
And yep, my parents pay for everything. I'm lucky, so what
thats the right attitude :) keep it up gosh...sound like I am talking to a 2 yr. old lol
by the way, I am not the one here to ask about salary or telling people my parents pay everything for me. This is the weirdest answer ever ...
You have to excuse delusional people. She's typing out a life she wishes she lived
i am not the one here asking about if $65k is good...when you have no concept of money.

An average salary is around $40,000/yr so you should be in good shape.
It is better than what a lot of people make. Consider yourself fortunate.
Man its better then my 2160 per year. Oh and your parents are well off..
Is that the median for starting pay with BA or mid-career? Makes a big difference.
I think you can get by with that most places in Texas. In coastal Calif or NYC, no.
That's more than good. You can curb your spending and save ALOT.
That varies on what your standards are.
Personally, I think it's great for a start. I think you could live comfortably off of that.
In San Francisco it's a sh*t salary. Location. Location. location
Depends on where you live, in where I live that's a little lower than average.
That's a lot of money. I know people that live off of $30k comfortably.
In this economy that is considered rich, hell having a job is considered rich now a days
That sounds like a good salary to me but "rich" would be a relative term.
It is pretty good. If that's an entry level job, it is definitely good. If you have a business degree though, definitely get an MBA.
in Michigan that is great! we only make 12 thousand if we are lucky
That sounds pretty good, based on demogrpahics sustaining life maybe easier.
After how many years?
It's mostly dependent on the level of education received. Those with a Ph.d start out at around $70,000 I believe. I would be working a job where there isn't much mobility (and I'm fine with that!), though I could maybe move on to being a professor as well.
65 is a great start, but the long term potential would be my concern.
I think in the long run it would likely only go up to maybe $80,000 and that's pushing it. Unless I consider going for the ph.d then it would be around $100,000 at the most. But like I said, it's not too popular in Dallas or North Texas.

Starting that is a great salary.
twice as much as I make. so...yea...congrats.
Yes that's a very good salary. Wish I made that.
