Do you men ever regret letting a good woman go?

I've always been that woman who was wise beyond her years, never played games, treated her boyfriends right, and I was always taken for granted, abused, lied to, and cheated on. I let them go because I always found out and finally mustered the courage to end things without having been too involved, but I was wondering if the boys who treated me this way ever grow up and realize what they had and how they treated me and if they regret it? I would love to hear an apology or something - and I know that will never happen - because it can be really hard to stay a good woman and not let bitterness take over when I seem to mean nothing to so many guys and I always get hurt, or dropped for a bitch that wills screw them over.

Well did you ever consider that maybe you aren't actually this wise guru who is super nice? Perhaps a false premise? Maybe your behavior is somehow causing this repeating pattern. Not trying to be offensive, it's just best to approach your own problems from an objective, unbiased viewpoint.

It just seems weird that you're always the one being fucked over. THey probably won't apologize because they don't think it's their fault. There are always two sides to every story.

I think your own viewpoint is flawed to instantly jump to the conclusion that I must be naive to the idea that I might be the cause. I can, with all honesty, tell you that I am what I say I am, which can come as a shock to a lot of people. Trust me, that's probably why I do get fucked over. People don't know how to be themselves without games.

Knowing the men I dated, they'd chalk it up to not feeling loved because I wouldn't have sex with the after a short period of time.

They knew my views on sex coming into the relationship, which would make it their fault. They went into the relationship for the wrong reasons - to turn the good girl bad - and I found that out and dumped them.

The only fault I have is being young and not choosing my partners more wisely.

I am sure they do, I regret a lot of past experiences with girls. Most guys, at least 95% won't ever apologize. Most Guys have thick skin and couldn't care less about how bad they make a girl feel. My only real advise would be to be a LOT more careful about who you choose to be with, and keep an open mind for the new ones. Sorry about your experiences and Good luck!

We all have messed up. But if it was a long time ago I wouldn't expect an apology. They might be sorry but I think it would be weird to apologize out of the blue. I messed up bad once but I apologized formally a week later and we both went our separate ways. Keep on keeping on, you will find a guy that treats you right, I know quite a few good guys left in this world haha.

I can imagine most of them will never grow to be wise enough to understand that part of the reason their lives have become so crappy is because they let a good woman go, so those people will not regret it, no. Their lives will still suck though.

Men regret a lot of things about women. Letting them go. Taking them back. Keeping them around. There's a lot to regret in general.
