I was an Advanced EMT working with a county EMS service and responded on a call as one of the highest-trained persons on the ambulance. We were a BLS unit that day.

Anyways, it was an elderly, frail female that fell at a mountain resort. You know with geriatrics, their skin can thin and tear very easily. Well, she tore her skin when she fell (an avulsion) and her ulna bone was exposed. I was curious and poked it lightly with my gloved finger to confirm.

I have also borrowed into people's bones to establish intraosseous infusions (an EZ IO), with one patient being conscious.

I'm torn. I like more players on The Dodgers, but Toronto hasn't won it in a while and Canada might benefit more from it if they want to use it as a way to show Canada is better.

From the nauseating slop they have fed kids during lunch, to reducing their recess and socialization time, to restricting their movements throughout the building, to crowding 23 kids in a classroom with 1 teacher, to common core curriculum that fails to address individual strengths and challenges. What are your thoughts?

These were just my observations when I was a kid in school. My wife and I for certain homeschooling our future kids or opting for co-op.

Everyone thinks because girls mature faster physically that they also mature faster mentally and emotionally but I would argue that isn't necessarily the case. For example (not that either should happen) a 16 year old boy would make a better soldier than a 16 year old girl would a mother

If I had the opportunity to attend one of these special ceremonies I would attend.

To Native Americans a powwow is a time to gather and honor traditions.
