I'm having a strange feeling and I don't know whether its because I'm getting older or just more mature.

Attraction to women has always been women 18 to 25 when I was 18, but as I'm getting older I'm finding myself unattracted to women of 18 to 25 and being more attracted to women in their 30s and over. It's a little strange for me as I used to wonder how someone could possible find a person in their late 30s - 40s attractive but I think I now know.

I can't be the only person to have had this realisation that I was wrong as a teen and as you age your preference changes. I'm 33 now and a woman in my local supermarket is 37 and we flirt each time we see each other, I really like her.

I told this to my sister and she laughed and claimed it was a midlife crises but I don't think that's what midlife crises means.

I usually go to bible studies for people in their early to mid 20s. One time I went to a bible study for those who were between 30 to 50 years old and it was the most rewarding experience ever! I gained so much wisdom and met so many remarkable people. As beauty fades - brains and hearts and souls and spirits grow bigger. I didn't go a second time cause it was a bible study for parents and I'm not a parent so I felt weird going there.

The 20-somethings are all delightful to look at and hold 'till they open their mouth. Then all bets are off. ;)

@victoriaxoxo - That's cuz yer 20-something. Perhaps you're more cultured than others. [shrug]
As a general rule, these are women that have an awareness, or cognizance, that centers about 12 inches around their own belly button. :)
And every little feeling or emotion that pops up in their little head they feel a need to verbalize. It's nearly comical were it not so dreadful. Never pass up the opportunity to simply STFU.

I’m already there with men and I didn’t think it would happen so quickly. 2 or 3 years back, men were just either walking vibrators or banks or both. But a serious relationship and a few other experiences and what I look for has completely changed. Looks aren’t so important, and I’m more concerned on whether he could hold a conversation, would he understand some of the things that go through my head? Would I understand him and how his mind works and how it all plays into how he views life and what he values? Do we have the same values? Will there be harmony? Can we communicate? Can we tolerate our bad habits? Etc.

I don’t think I’m completely mature yet but I have never had this mentality before.

Mind the fact I’m still single, as I am focusing on my career right now and definitely wouldn’t want to rush things but let’s just say that I feel like I know what to look for.

That’s a midlife crisis? As a woman in her thirties I wish I could find a man like you. I was always attracted to men in my own age bracket and that’s probably never going to change. Usually they only want girls in their early twenties though. I’m not bitter or angry at these lovely young ladies, but it’s refreshing to know that there are guys my age who appreciate the older ladies too 😊

It's normal, now I'm not attached to woman between 18-22 any more but I used to. Now I like them between 22-39
