Dear Future Wife

I'm waiting for you. I've prayed and committed to waiting and preparing for you. To becoming a strong, dependable, Spirit-led Man of God for you and our future family. I know it hasn't been easy for you.....me neither. I know you've experienced dissappointment after dissappointment and you feel ready to give up. That you've been on the verge of becoming Man's worst nightmare more than a few times, to show men the hurt you've been dealt. I understand because I myself was that guy, as well as the hopeful naive boy that fell in love too quick and got betrayed himself. I hope you can forgive me for the mistakes I've made in the past. For not saving all of me for you, for not being the man I should have been sooner, and for keeping you waiting. But who am I kidding, I know you forgive me. I know you'll accept me. Just like I'll forgive and accept you, all of you. Right now The Lord is working on and in us, and readying us for each other. To not only model Godly for each other, but to set an example and standard for all others that witness the way that we live. I hope you're excited. I, in no way, intend live a mundane life with you. We might argue and bicker like all couples do at some point, but that's to be expected. I do know that our marriage will be filled with laughter, fun, adventure, love and most importantly service to The Lord, even in the simplest of life tasks. I love you and I look forward to our future together.
