I feel like I can't cry or get angry in front of anyone especially men.
The only expressions I can have are a smile.
No, you just found horrible girl, there are lots of loving and supportive girls around there who can help you. I can assure as I am pretty shy as well.
Good advice, but I won't need it because love and relationships are out of reach for me.
They are for me too since I am single again.
Dating as a normal young man is harder than beating dark souls 3.
It's alright to cry dude. We're human. Who are we to judge people. I hope you'll feel better and get over your problems.
Thank you, friend!
Don't mention it! :)
WAY TLDR. No woman wants her man breaking down into tears every time she does.
If you show weakness to a woman they instantly lose respect. They'll SAY that's what they want, but it registers in their little brain and it goes downhill from there.
It happened to me too , I did everything for her when she was in trouble , yet one day I cried in front of her cause she was crying too from a trauma.
Her behaviour changed after that , she started to see me as less manly , once she told me I should wear a frock , or I am not that manly...
And she left after sometime anyway.
You are right men should not cry...
Going to share some harsh truths here.
Women can't help what they are. They are turned off on a visceral level, by men who are not manly. They say they aren't because intellectually they believe they shouldn't be. But they are.
The guy has cried in front of me before and I never judged him. Instead I tried to comfort him and reassure him.
And then left him...
@alex_x988 no I haven't left the guy I was with... even now even when he pushed me away I was still there for him
Lucky guy!
@alex_x988 😂😂😂
Men of few words always take it
@alex_x988 Dude don't assume such things that's not right of you to assume she left him right afterward. :\
Very good to know!
Unfortunately there is a double standard between the ideal in which men are encouraged to share their feelings and the reality you experience. Cry in the rain alone.
I'm really going to hope this was sarcastic because it's stupid as fuck.
Tbh I dont think so, this is a common view that men hold. Society really does push the idea that crying in front of others is immasculating, or at least the majority of men that I know seem to feel like society is pushing this idea.
I wish I would be sarcastic on this one but unfortunately I can't mean that.
Sounds more like she thought you became depressed and like most people didn't know how to handle that. Not that you cried. Which every single human being does and no one gives a shit about when you do
You should change your status level from guru to dipshit
@901Photographer not really has just a drama queen. That's not why she left him
Nice
All these girls saying they want men to cry in the comments. These are the same girls who would cheat or leave if their man cries.
Women can't respect a man who cries. Its that simple. There is a reason men over thousands of years keep up the don't cry. You think it was just made up for fun?
Just have to realize that everything has no emotions. They're all made by you. That's when I stopped being emotional. I'd say don't hide it if you can't control it but you might as well better control it that to hide it.
On the contrary, hiding it is the weakness. Controlling it is the strength
Dude she was a bitch, its as simple as that, we are alowed to show our emotions and cry its natural so just chill out.
Right. I blocked and deleted her from my end and she's forgotten history. There's no room for toxic people in my life. However there's room for a proper girlfriend at least (:
I know I'm a lot older than you but I cry, that doesn't make me weak or anything sometimes we have to release the pressure on our hearts and minds.
Yes, exactly!
I cried in front of my ex when I broke up with her. So I'm sweet as. Don't need to worry about anything. Sucks to hear it man. Trust me. I know what that feels like and it's the worst.
I am sorry she was unkind to you. But emotionally repressed men suck to be in a relationship with.
It’s a harsh truth.
Men can cry in front of other men... and we will support each other.
Women see men crying as a sign of weakness. They make you feel pathetic and they see you differently.
Which is why society tells us not to.
But women keep saying we should because they want to have a reason to hate on us.
Personally I'd say it's a show of strength to cry as a man. Yeh we are seen as strong and all manly things 💪 but what's wrong with a man cry?
I try my best not to cry but I've done it so much in front of my friends and I think it's made my friendships stronger.
@CassMi I never said there was anything wrong with men crying. I support it. My kids have seen me cry, and close male friends, but in my experience... females will negatively judge you if you cry in front of them.
Your friends, if female, likely think you are pathetic and have lost any manly interest that may have had in you.
There are men on here who don’t support you crying. And there are certainly women who abide by the sexist attitudes that society has enforced. It’s up to YOU to throw off the shackles that burden men and throw a middle finger to society
Bro I just cried in front of my girlfriend 2 nights ago over my cat lol people can think what they want but when you hurt sometimes all you can do is cry
women are full of shit. i mean to their credit they really believe that it's fine for men to cry but as soon as a man cries in front of them they can't help but look at him differently. also if you don't cry they'll call you emotionally crippled so there's no winning with them. anyway i agree. no one should see a man cry
