This nature vs. nurture argument. Sure we may be genetically predisposed towards a certain behavior but that doesn't mean we don't have the freedom to decide for ourselves what kind of life we want. I like to think humanity has the ability to reason out our decisions and actions.
Hell, it's not natural for us to stare at a screen all day or drive a car but we do that anyway. We do a lot of things that aren't natural because it's convenient to live that way.
i believe there is a fair amount of truth but it is not an either or thing either. i mean we are animals and most animals are not monogamous by nature so i view it more as some of us himans are not meant to be monogamous. it is a bit more of a decision each of us gets to make. there is a little of hard wiring in us that goes against it but also some hard wiring that supports monogamy.
I keep hearing that men are not supposed to be monogamous but women are not trying to hear that. Way back in olden days, men always had a herom of women. Even old school married men had a girlfriends on the side and their wives knew about it but they figured a man is gonna do what a man is gonna do.
Being monogamous is fine.
Being polygamous is fine.
Lying about either is not fine.

Sadly... when women have babies, they are indisposed for a year.. pregnancy and the 1st month of childcare, they are NOT interested in sex (there are Rare exceptions) Men can breed every day, sometimes more... and many want to... It's true. The reason why men are disposed while women are reserved is that because it's easier to repopulate with fewer men than women rather than vice versa. While it's true, it's not justifiable in our overpopulated society because men are still capable of being monogamous.
I don't care. They have to fulfill my demands and loyalty is one of them.

Men are not designed to be faithful to just one person. Biologically we're programmed and wired to have sex with as many women as possible. He can still love a woman he's in a relationship while sleeping with different women because one section of women are the ones he'll just sleep with and the others are women he'll marry
Yet not all men are like that so so men aren't wired that way, some are.. just like some women are, some aren't. It's a person's nature, not by gender
