I'm a 19 year-old sophomore in college and this is really my first gf; we've been officially dating for only 2 weeks. Never even kissed a girl in HS, yes I'm a virgin still.

My gf (whom I met through a friend) however, will be graduating June 2nd. She just turned 18 towards the ending of April. She's also a virgin.

Today she has told me that her father finds it rude that I haven't introduce myself and would like to have a word with me before our next date. I can still be a kind of shy around new people and never spoken with a girl's family, not much father before. Help...

I don't want him thinking I'm some player or something.

My father, for instance, also wants to get to know my bfs, so that he knows who I'm with. I assume you're also her first bf, and her father most certainly knows that. So this is a change in his daughter's life. Him wanting to meet you, doesn't immediately have to be a bad thing.
I understand that you're feeling nervous, especially because you don't know what to expect. Remember that this counts for everyone meeting their bf/gf's parents for the first time.
Remember that shyness doesn't have to be a bad thing. Be yourself.

Aww this is sweet! I have a new boyfriend and even at my age my dad wants to meet him. A father who cares wants to make sure his daughter is safe and with a guy with good intentions. It sounds like thats you, so just be yourself. If he asks why u like her just say why (dont mention anything physical). And maybe learn more about him and his expectations.

I'm joking, just meet him. My eldest daughter isn't dating yet, but probably in a couple years, not many. And yeah, I'll want to meet the guys. To a large extent I just want to see that they're willing to meet me. If they're avoiding me, wtf are they planning to do to my daughter? What I expect is for them to treat her well, and they should have no worry about me if that's their intention.
