She would dry up and blow away before I would get her a glass of water. She would starve to death before I would get her something to eat. I would do any of these things for some one who appreciated it , but the entitled few can get off their lazy ass and get it them selves. Adam was never Eve's slave , they were equals

I think we are here to serve each other. Men and women serve each other in many different ways. I would never want a male slave - I want a man who I can also serve, love, respect, etc.

Lol ok. I never heard of her but she must have mental or emotional problems. Although, I don't totally disagree with her. I think it's good to serve a woman that you love but that's voluntarily as it should be. Requiring it means you just have a robot, maybe that's what she needs.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI get a kick out of women like that. Never met a woman who wasn't at least disappointed in a man she could dominate. Generally they hold them in contempt. After a while, if they have it bad they start goading men to try and get a reaction out of them.

Some women like to emasculate men but never want them when they've finished.
Opinion Owner+1 y@aliceinwonderland69
I have definitely met a few like that. Had one girlfriend who about once a month would just out of the blue make some unreasonable demand or act out of line. I'm an extremely agreeable guy but I have very well defined limits which I don't compromise in the slightest. She'd get more and more worked up and when I wouldn't budge she'd suddenly want to have wild animal sex right away. I called it 'timberwolfing' after a friend who had a pet timberwolf. Mostly it was like a dog but about once a month it would get surly and he'd have to wrestle with it, pin it and pinch it's throat, then it would be like a dog again.- +1 y
Women just like to test your boundries. If you fail then we don't respect you.
+1 yId say thats a one sided relationship that won't last, in a good relationship each side is there to help and serve each other. If both people are not helping each other and loving each other it will be a rocky relationship. When one side holds to much power it will sink faster then the last bright idea that came from our politicians

See the gash between your legs? Gender isn't a social construct.
Opinion Owner+1 yThat's biological sex, not gender.
And biological sex is also constructed or we wouldn't perform harmful, unnecessary surgeries on th 4% of people born with bodies that don't fit into the binary categories of 'male' or 'female'- +1 y
Biological sex and gender are the same bloody thing. The only people who have issues with their gender are people like transsexuals, which is nothing short of having gender dysphoria.. a mental illness.
- +1 y
also LOL at saying BIOLOGY is a social construct. You are an absolute nutjob.
Opinion Owner+1 yGender is cultural; therefore it varies cross culturally, whereas biology doesn't.
And yes, the way we interpret the body is socially constructed. We decide that there are only two sexes despite 4% of people having bodies that don't fit into those categories. Instead of changing the way we define sex to include those people, we start chopping bits off their perfectly healthy bodies, often causing them major medical problems. That seems pretty nutty to me- +1 y
4% of people = disfigurements, meaning they deviate from the norm, meaning you're acting as if disfigured and mutated people are somehow normal, despite them being murdered in the past for being disfigured.
A hermaphrodite isn't a 'different' sex, it's a disfigurement caused by weak genes.
Opinion Owner+1 yIf they're healthy, why try to change their bodies? Why are we so uncomfortable with difference? Their bodies aren't 'normal', as in they deviate from averages, but that doesn't mean they're wrong. That doesn't mean they're not valid people. Why should their bodies have to change for us to accept them as people? Why not just accept their biological sex as being different?
You're trying to say we should murder people? Now who's a nutjob? You find it more acceptable to kill people than to allow everyone the basic right to body autonomy?
- +1 y
I didn't say anything about murdering anybody. Is that all you liberals can do? Change the context of people's words and attack strawmen? You're suggesting we label people with deformities and mental illnesses as anything but what they are, which is retarded. You're suggesting these people are forced under a knife when they're the ones consenting to it.
You are arguing with emotion instead of logic, emotional points instead of logical points, and in the process are saying absolutely nothing. Yes, it's wrong for people to encourage transsexuals to transition and lie to them about their gender. Yes, they need to be helped, not medicated, but helped. The sooner people accept that gender dysphoria is an illness and NOT just a male being born with a 'female brain' (and vice versa), the sooner people will actually learn how to help those with gender dysphoria. Gender is not a social construct, it is a biological design. Always has been, always will be. - +1 y
Before you even attempt to involve religion in this, I am an atheist. I don't believe it's 'morally wrong' to be mentally ill, but I do feel it's morally wrong to encourage the mentally ill and deceive them.
Before you try to compare transsexuals to gays, the difference between being gay and being a transsexual is that gay men don't think they're women, they're just attracted to men.
Before you try to attack my point about hermaphrodites again, it's no different than a person being born with an extra limb or elephantitis. It looks weird, is a sign of weak genetics, and is obviously going to put people off like any other deformity, so removal of the appendage makes sense.
Opinion Owner+1 yI'm not a fucking liberal thank-you very much, I'm a socialist
You're the one who talked about people with deformities being murdered in the past like that somehow justifies discrimination against them
People who are born Intersex don't get to consent; they're put through these dangerous medical procedures as infants if their bodies don't match up to arbitrary criteria needed to assign them 'male' or 'female'. For example there are literally measurements to decide what's an 'acceptable penis' and what's an 'acceptable clitoris', and any sexual organ that falls somewhere in between those maximum and minimum measurements tend to go under the knife, even if there's nothing functionally wrong with their body.
How can it make any sense that that is normal in our society, but adults who consent to surgery to change their bodies are not allowed to have that?
Opinion Owner+1 yResearch consistently shows that transgender people who aren't allowed to transition suffer horribly and often kill themselves. In my view, this would be far less common if we didn't gender bodies and accepted that gender and sex are socially constructed. However, pragmatically; why not allow consenting adults to alter their bodies if they want to? It does no harm to anyone else and it will improve their lives. Why not allow trans kids to use puberty blockers until they are old enough to decide if they want to transition? It literally doesn't affect anyone else, and it saves those people pain
Opinion Owner+1 yI'm an atheist too. I think I covered the 'morality' stuff already; if you can help dysphoric people to live happier lives by letting them transition then there's no reason not to.
I wasn't going to compare transgender people to gay people. I don't know what comparison I'd make there. Other than the fact that the idea of sexuality as identity was invented to condemn certain sexual behaviour. Before then there was no such thing as a 'gay' or 'straight' person, sex was just seen in terms of acts.
It only 'looks weird' because we're taught that there's a right way for bodies to look.
Operating on healthy babies who don't look the way we expect them to very commonly causes them real medical problems; for example their bowels and bladder can get messed up, or they can be rendered unable to ever orgasm. It simply isn't worth it to stop some people from being uncomfortable with the idea of their body being different. Society needs to just get over its prejudice- +1 y
Hermaphrodites aren't delusional, they're just people who are born with a deformity.
This is what you can't seem to grasp. Gender dysphoria is a mental illness and falls under 'delusion', much like psycho hobos thinking they're the president. Would you encourage someone depressed to kill themselves? An alcoholic to keep drinking? A schizophrenic that their mirage is real? A kleptomaniac to steal? No, you'd suggest they get help. Same goes for transsexuals; Encouraging them to cut their limbs off and get prosthetic penises and vaginas isn't helping them in the slightest since their pain doesn't end once they transition.
I know transmen and transwomen who actually fear getting their girlfriend pregnant/getting pregnant themselves, meanwhile they CAN'T. I also know transwomen who suffer because they're confused about how they can't get pregnant. The whole point surrounding this, though, is that a delusional person isn't evidence of gender being socially constructed.
Opinion Owner+1 yNot all transgender people are dysphoric. Some are happy with their bodies but just not the gender assigned to them based on their bodies.
I encourage doing what will cause the most happiness and the least harm. Transitioning is shown to help trans people to be happier, so it's worth doing. Like with any cosmetic surgery really; although I feel it could be avoided if we just stopped teaching people that there's a 'right' way for bodies to look.- +1 y
That's BS that they aren't all dysphoric. Why else would they want to transition if they didn't feel anxious about their own gender? Why would they want to change how they look on the outside to fit their own delusion? I don't buy that for a second that trans people don't all experience dysphoria, otherwise they wouldn't want to transition in the first place.
Opinion Owner+1 yNot all of them do want to transition.
