My husbands farts smell different. Is he cheating on me?

My husband is spending a lot more late nights at work. As a result, he isn't eating well or exercising. He mentioned his assistant, Andrew, is openly gay and kind of into him. His farts smell different. Does this mean they are having gay anal sex?
He also has mentioned pain in his rectum but always excused the pain as a result of his poor eating habits because if working late.

How can I ask him? Is this too touchy of a subject for most men to talk about with their wives?

Are there other factors that made you think your husband might be gay before all of this started happening? It does seem like a little bit of a stretch to go from funny smelling farts to gay cheating. If that's the only thing that makes you think this, then he's probably not cheating on you. Having a change in diet can definitely account for a change in the way your farts smell

If you have other concerns that he might be cheating on you, then ask him about it. Don't go into the situation offensively or he'll get defensive and neither of you will be happy. Be careful in the way you bring it up because you don't want him getting upset if he isn't cheating on you. Say something along the lines of "I know you've been really stressed working late nights, but I want to make sure there's nothing else going on. If there is you can tell me and we can try to work on fixing it." That way he knows you care first and foremost about his happiness and aren't going to throw a toaster at his head if he fesses up to something

Oh and the pain in his rectum is probably from constipation because he's not eating the right food or drinking enough water
