My boyfriend had this "friend" Amy who rejected him a few years ago because he was too short for her and she apparently had a over 6 ft standard. Well now we are in a relationship and I'm happy with him, and he's happy with me. It bothers me when he likes pictures of her in her underwear though. I wouldn't care if it was an insta model or something; but it is someone he knows. I asked him about it, and he said he just liked it because she is his friend and that he didn't think much about it. He's even compared me to her before saying I was hotter and more exotic :/

It still hurts my feelings though. She's really pretty and a girl saw it and was taunting me saying "why is your boyfriend liking pictures of girls in their underwear?"

Is this the first picture he has liked of her or has he liked lots of other pictures too? The reason I am asking is because I was in a similar situation too with my now ex boyfriend. My boyfriend at the time was constantly liking this one girl's pictures on Instagram. It wasn't just one picture.. it was almost every single picture that the girl posted. I confronted him about it and he said he had no feelings for the girl and that nothing was going on. However, a few months later I found out that my initial gut feeling had been right and that he had been cheating on me with the same girl.

I am, of course, not saying that your boyfriend is cheating on you or anything like that. But I would advise you to keep your eyes open. You should let him know that what he did made you a bit uncomfortable since if he really cares about you - he would stop, knowing that it makes you feel insecure. There is nothing wrong with pointing out things like this to your boyfriend as communicating about your worries is the main thing.

Wow that's unacceptable. I'd get upset if my boyfriend did that to me. To me he still wants her despite having you as his girlfriend. What if she changed her mind? He might leave you for her. I'm not gonna tell you things you wanna hear but I have seen many similar scenarios. You need to tell him that it bothers you and you feel unwanted by him.

To me, it looks like the fact that your friend pointed it to you bothers you more than the fact that your boyfriend actually liked this picture. If you are sure in him than why should you be worried? In any case a guy is a guy and he will always like the pictures of nice-looking girls in underwear, doesn't matter if he shows this openly or if he is hiding it. In fact, the thing is that he is not afraid to do it knowing that you will see it shows that he has no plans for this girl. I would say that he would never do so if he had some affair with her at least in his plans.
