Me and my boyfriend of 1 year tend argue a lot.. Over nothing. In a recent argument things got physical and he threw water on me and put me in a choke hold. He slapped me in the back of the head hard and pinched me and vice versa.. He cried afterwards n said sorry.. I don't know what to do.. I feel it's my fault but the choke hold really scared me

Things can get heated in an argument. It is a 2 way learning experience. I recommend dumping him, he crossed some lines that are not meant to be crossed.

Also do pay mind on how you performed that caused the outcome. Did you get physical first? Were you intentionally provoking him Etc? Whatever it was that was the trigger flr his violent behaviour think on it and if it could be improved on your end to avoid similar thing from happening with someone else.
