Good job. Your life will be less complicated and you will keep your friends. Be warned, he'll probably come back. Stand strong and do the right thing for you, not him. It IS the right thing to look elsewhere for love.
End it before the damage starts, its better he is protected from one of the worst mistakes he could make that would ruin multiple people's lives including his own.

You're not a victim here, so don't play that card. You know exactly what you're doing, you know exactly type of situation you're involved in and the full extent of the consequences of your actions. You're a big girl, so appeal to your conscience or your passions to make your CHOICES. There is no room for 'mistakes' here.

Let's be completely honest you're loving the fact that he's this infatuated with you. I don't know if you're smart enough to stay away from this guy or not. But let's assume you're not. The good thing is in a few years you're going to hear the same speech again when he finds another woman younger and hotter. Lol
You never want to be the person to break up a family.. if there's a chance of them working it out and being a happy family, would you really want to be the one standing in the way of that happening?
This is a situation you don't want to get involved in. You rightly don't feel comfortable with it and any difficulties he has in seeing his kids will greatly affect your relationship.
I didn't read the description. Just remember if he wants to leave his wife and family for you he will DEFINITELY leave you for another girl. Don't get mixed up in this kinda stuff. Find a decent single man. You'll be happier. Karma is a bitch.
That's being called a homewrecker don't you feel guilty no matter who's in the right or wrong of all the people he's going to leave his wife for it just so happens to be you. Is that something you can live with for the rest of your life?
A person who couldn't be loyal to his wife and his very own children is not trustworthy for a relationship amd there's a very high chance that you may go through the same thing his wife will be going through once he loses his interest in you.

It's nice to hear about people that come to their senses.

I hate to be Cap'n Obvious, but If he'd leave her for you, what's to say he won't leave you for someone else?

He said he will never leave his children, so he will never leave his wife. Get out of there and find a guy who can commit to you.
You should tell him not to leave his kids. What he does is up to him but I don’t think you should wait around for him.
You did the right thing

Even if it was a good relationship, and it sounds like it was, you don't want to be the girl who took a child's father away...
this dude is lying
he isn't gonna leave her for you
they never do , not with divorce, settlements etc involved.
dont believe his lies
and if he does leave his family for you, he will do the same when he is married to you.

You're smart women. You left a man with baggage. You don't need drama. You're young travel the world.

should never ever have let this begin. it doesn't matter the state of ho sdcc marriage. never should date a m as n already in a relationship
Sometimes you just have to cut your losses, swallow hard and move on. This sounds like one of those times.
Find another, block him... it's just hormones. You will regret it.
stay away from married men before his wife stalks you , beats you up or kills you
