Do you prefer friends of the opposite gender, the same gender, or both?

I have friends of both but I prefer female friends because I have always found them easier to talk to especially about mental health issues I have at times.

I prefer to have male friends. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with other girls, I was just spent most of my childhood with my 3 male cousins. Me and my cousins all lived at my grandmothers home for majority of my childhood, and since my other two girl cousins were much older than me I spent most of my time with the boys. Which is probably why I’m such a tomboy. I’m just typically more comfortable around guys. Even when I do have girl friends I usually only have one at a time, and I always feel like I don’t really fit. I am very easily intimidated by other girls because I often times feel like I’m not feminine enough to hang out with them.

I get along much better with men.

Less drama, more trustworthy and better jokesters.

I also enjoy being able to help them when they’re upset seeing as they tend to bottle up their emotions otherwise.

I agree with you. I prefer female friends myself. I think sometimes with guys it's let's get down to business vs. With girls it's being in the moment. With guys... Going to a sports game, with a guy and a girl both can be in full fan makeup with uniforms and a foam finger. If I said my girlfriend broke up with me, the guy would say let's talk about it on the way there... The girl would throw everything down and say let's talk this out

Both, I have more lady friends than guy friends. I have three best guy friends who have always been there for me. I have more than three lady friends who are really close. One of them is my current girlfriend.
