Is it easier to make friends with someone of the same sex or opposite gender?

I notice that my circle of friends is mostly with guys, and they're alright, but I really want my own circle of female friends, but it's so difficult to connect I think. What about you?

Opposite definitely. I find it much easier to make friends with women. I generally feel like I connect better with women. There was some question on here a week or so ago about stereotypical masculine and feminine traits and I was pretty close to even but with slightly more allegedly feminine traits (like being a good listener, compassionate and things like that) so maybe that's why I get along better with women?

I think it depends what you look for in a friend. There are definitely things that, in average, guys would be more willing to do. The same goes for female friends however. There are definitely things you can enjoy with them, that the average guy might not want to. And I'm just talking about normal things too, like physical activities, shopping, or just going to see something.

I've often found it to be a little easier to make friends with the opposite sex. I think because I tend to be a little more into emotions and thought, than into crazy guy stuff. Though I love sports, and have a couple of good guy friends.

I think the same gender. Mostly cause I trust myself to not be attracted to the same gender... because I'm straight 😂. But I know my dumbass will randomly start tryna smash and end up ruining it XD
