First, separate what info was initially alleged, what info you gave (if any), and use a search-engine on the number.
For the initial report, was the alleged whistleblower able to correctly provide your boyfriend's name (& other specifics, without you giving it)? It may have been a wrong number.
How long have these texts been exchanged? (Have you responded back at all?) Is there a pattern in when they're sent?

Download an app called reverse lookup. You type in the # and the persons who name is registered to the phone will appear along with location and other things. If a name does not show, it’s likely to be a texting app.
