Is "unconditional love" stupid?

Is the idea of loving someone just because of who they are stupid.

I think you love someone because of the interactions you have with them so if your partner stops having positive interactions with you, you won't love them anymore.

You might care for them but if their personality flips entirely is the idea of still loving them stupid?

Absolutely not stupid... its a love and bond a couple has, and no matter what relationship do tend to break apart, but the unconditional love a couple has its beautiful its not pressuring the other for how emotional you feel about your partner. Unconditional love is a form of respect, even when the relationship fails, at least you don't have that bad feeling that you should of love more than what you sign up for. So ya... unconditional love is not stupid, instead its smart.

I don't think I know much else other than unconditional love. I still feel love and care for the people who have treated me badly. It doesn't mean I put up with their bs, I just wish them well and remember them. I just think that love and care accomplish more than indifference and bitterness.
