I think love makes you weaker when it comes to the one you love, meaning you have a soft spot and a vulnerability with them. They have the power to destroy you emotionally because you love them so much. But, with the rest of the world, I think love makes you strong. Having someone in your corner makes you feel like you can handle anything because you have someone on your side.

+1 yIt makes you vulnerable to get hurt but it can also make you feel stronger in hard times and wanna do well by that person even if it means pushing yourself to extreme lengths. Before i met my boyfriend, i didn't care to much about my life but now im with him, im fighting to make a better life for the both of us and are future.

It genuinely depends on the person you're in a relationship with. It your i love with someone toxic yes i could make you feel weak but if your in love with someone great they will make your life equally as great

Well what went wrong?

she broke up with me, she made it seem like it was my paranoia which i admit it was my fault there cause i was paranoid about her at some point (tough background) i apologized and everything and we made up, few days later she said she can't forget about it and that we should break up, its seems a bit more silly and funny than something that should insult her i thought she was working for the mexican stalker i had years ago, and tbh i have my good reasons to believe so, anyways point is that i honestly just believe she got bored of me and dipped, after all i went out of my way for her a lot, id drop everything to attend her when she needed it, i think she just didn't find it attractive and well she found an excuse to leave me, mostly after she went so cold after the breakup like she never even had feelings for me, like she lost interest and well its the only reason she forgot me so quick, or maybe she was a mexican crazy and when i exposed her she left haha, either ways i was in love so i was always there for her, i believe she just wanted to convince herself that the reason was me when it was probably just her, either ways i feel like love betrayed me and fucked me up at the end, if i wasn't in love with her, i wouldve been different 🙃

have you ever seen a man and his woman anywhere (malls, gas station, grocery store, pharmacy, drive tru at McDonald's or anywhere...) (possibly with their kids) and his girlfriend/wife treats him like crap, disrespects him, insults him, is possibly even fat and talks him down? Yeah, don't be that weak guy. I bet he forgives her everything every single time. He's got no balls.00 Reply

+1 yTrue, it opens up a new weakness that can be exploited... I like to keep my medical stuff on the quiet but my mother will tell everyone and the amount of people who know my weaknesses is quite disconcerting

1.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Not necessarily weak but love does make us all go a little crazy which could bring out some of our weaknesses. 😆
10 Reply50/50. As a couple, you are stronger cuz you have someone you can rely on and work together with but at the same time, you are weak with the other. It's like 2 poles holding up a piece of wood. Together you balance the piece of wood and it's strong and sturdy. But if one pole breaks or is weak, it can break the piece of wood and damage and hurt the other pole (if that makes sense. I feel like my analogy sucks)

+1 yNot really it depends on the person, the idea of love itself is a beautiful thing, love can't makes you weak it can just make you open up. it's only people that take advantage of that

I dont about that I've seen some beautiful relationship around me I think it depends on people trying work at it but you right not everyone gets the love they want but I still like to think love is worth it

If that's how you feel I can't change that
I've put up with really shitty situations in the past because I loved that person. Defo look back now and think why?
11 ReplyLove doesn’t make you weak, abstaining from forming and maintaining strong relationships-self sabotage- for concern of being hurt or mocked (E. g. “whipped) does. Cheesy as it is, if we didn’t hurt, we wouldn’t be able to recognize happiness and opportunity when it’s near us.
00 Reply572 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Interesting question! I believe it makes one fragile, vulnerable, and have a soft spot for someone. But I think real love isn’t weak or painful. Love is such a wonderful yet powerful word/feeling. Therefore, I’d say false :)
10 ReplyNope. It's weak if someone is too afraid to open they heart
19 ReplyYou are mistaking being strong as being hard. They are NOT the same thing. Its up to you to distinguish which is which. Until that epiphany hits, you are still holding on to your little boy status.
10 Reply778 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Imho if love strengthens the courageous and weakens the cowards...
If love makes you feel weak : you’re not in love or you’re not doing it right or you’re a narcissist <~~ they can all overlap 😛🤷♀️😁😎👌💗 🤗11 Reply
+1 yLove is a series of brain chemicals. Marriage, cohabitation and childbirth are at all time lows and women file 75% of divorces. The question is: why let women make you weak when sex robot toys for men are so cheap?
00 ReplyWhat about when you are loved? Do you feel weak then? There is no stronger reality than love

+1 yYes but it also makes you strong in other ways. People who love are able to go to extreme lengths and endure a lot of things for the sake of their loved ones.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yIt's letting all guards down. Trusting all things with that person. Being vulnerable and thats something you can't do anymore realistically. So love is other things that I haven't discovered because I quit trying.

+1 yYes it does, you open your emotional connections to the person and build up trust that when broken have driven people into a murderous rage. Broken hearts are devastating.
