Brother #1 and I met a few years ago. We fell in love and have had an on again/off again romance, straight out of a novel for about three years now. No matter what we always find our way back to each other. Very passionate kind of love.
Our last breakup was pretty messy, and he actually ended up moving across the country for a a new, even proposing to me before he left. We tried to do the long distance thing for a while, but past issues and the strain of long distance haunted us. The last time we spoke was probably about a month ago.
I still love Brother #1 dearly and miss him SO much. He is coming back to visit family for a month in the spring, so I really don't know what to expect.
Brother #2 and I obviously met while I was dating my ex. We always got along extremely well and Brother #1 would sometimes get jealous over how similar we were and how we got along so well. We are both fun people, whereas my ex is more of a laidback individual (we are like yin and yang, but opposites attracted in our case).
When Brother #1 moved away and we broke up, Brother #2 and I kept in contact. He invited me to his birthday a while ago, and that's kind of where it all escalated. We ended up sleeping together after a night of heavy drinking.
When brother #1 found out, he was devastated. He and his brother are no longer speaking regularly and it's caused somewhat of a rift.
Brother #1 and I got back together after this all happened, but it was long distance. He started treating me badly because of it all. We ended and haven't talked in over a month.
Brother #2 and I have been extremely close friends lately -- we talk for hours sometimes. He's been there for me through it all and he even went through a similar breakup as well. We have been talking all the time, but out of no where, he asked me last night if I wanted to spent Valentine's Day with him. I'm falling for him.
I still love Brother #1 tremendously, but I also feel like I'm falling for Brother #2. What should I do?
