i would need a few minutes to compose myself, not to keep from shouting, but because i would be so sad for her. then she would be daddy's little girl again, i would hold her and tell her i am there for her, don't be afraid, daddy is here

Let her know I'm still here letting her know she is also in big trouble and speak to the parents of the little boy on what is going on. Truly only after I get the major urge to choke him out, out of my system. Make her understand what they both are into and how to tackle school while having kid is like.

I would be disappointed as she just made sure she will have very small chance to get higher then 'burger flipper'...

It is to late to do anything...

Daddy probably done runner long ago and he has to pay for what he done, by being 'burger flipper' too, or going to jail in case he is much older...

I'd tell her I warned her about this and I recommend getting an abortion, otherwise I can't promise I can support the baby. She has to support it herself if she wants to keep it. She made this decision after risking sex at such a young age.

There is Nothing to do because it is already done. Both parents just need to be there for her. The baby is the boyfriend’s responsibility too so he should be involved!

Hopefully I live in a state with easy access to abortion. But the majority of teen pregnancies are in the bible belt where they don't have easy access to abortion or birth control.

So you would be selfish about it because you don't respect your daughter or the life that grows inside of her.

With that being your attitude, don't ever have kids of your own.

I just think if she's old enough to get laid, she also is old enough to know about protection and USE it. It may break, it may not work (pills) but the chance is tiny and if you're using both, you pretty much can't get pregnant.

A four month fetus is "not living"?

      Seriously?

      Did you flunk highschool biology?

Ask any OB/GYN doctor if that 4 month old fetus is living.

And spare me the double talk about "viability".

That and imagine the future the ‘next’ grand daughter has is the daughter is allowed to complete school, college, university, get a career become a surgeon save lives, financial security AND then have a baby.

Alternatively, there is the potential of being a single mother, not getting an education you wanted nor the career you wanted.

@ChrisMaster69 Enough with either/or apologetics for the benefits of abortion. A woman can be in an ideal situation to have a baby. She can have a husband, nice house and a good income.

The woman's situation can suddenly turn around. Her kid gets hit by a car and is crippled for life. She gets divorced. She has no money.

Since her situation turned around should she be able to kill her kid so it won't suffer?

      My point is this.

The what if game is a fools game.

What if a pregnant teenage hits the lottery. She can keep the baby and give it a good life or abort it because the kid will stand in the way of her having a good time with her new fortune.

@Cicero79 the grandparents will end up raising the kid anyway. I would see how my daughter felt but if she felt it was a mistake I stand by taking her to the clinic

Sounds good to me. But some girl 16, to her it could sound like the end of her life, especially if she wind up a single mother. She might wind up getting screwed twice.

their highh. And to find it you must think before you act.

A friend of mine told me a story as she showed me pictures of her sons wedding and New grandson. When she was pregnant with her son she was having twins... a boy and and a girl.

It was determined the boy had a cleft palate. Her doctor gave her the option of aborting her son.

Bottom line is this she did not abort her son.

As she finished showing me the pictures she asked a rhetorical question.

"How could I have aborted my son, killed my daughter's twin brother? I would not have a grandson. My son's wife would have a totally different life".

Her one choice would have had generational effects.

Her story hit home with me. I have too have the same birth defect as her son.

Only a jackass would look me in the eye and tell me my mother would be in the right to abort me based on the fact that I am not quite normal.
