I recently went to a birthday party with my boyfriend. It was for his best friend Bob. A lot of my bf’s old high school friends were there that he used to party with. I also met Bob’s girlfriend Tina who was nice.
My boyfriend had been excited about a concert coming up and invited all the people there. Bob and Tina also would be going. I can’t go because I have class, and I sometimes get panic attacks at wild concerts.
That night at the party, my boyfriend got really drunk. I’d never seen him like this before. He was knocking things over, spilled his drink, and acting stupid. I said he should stop drinking but he didn’t listen and kept drinking.
Earlier, Tina had joked that she’d look after my boyfriend at the concert and she’d be the most sober one. In his drunken state, my boyfriend walked up to Tina and said smirking “you’re gonna look after me, huh? at the concert” and she said yeah, and he just kept saying that over and over but kind of flirty, smiling and slurred and said “Tina you’re gonna look after me. You’re cute.” and then I said, “what?” and then he paused and looked at me and said “you’re cute.”
After the party, I had to keep chasing him and stop him from running in the streets. He was dancing around like a kid. At one point he pulled his pants down.
We’ve been together almost 5 years and I’ve never seen him like this. I don’t know what to think about it. I’m worried about how he’ll act at the concert and wonder how often he gets this drunk with his friends.
