@friendzoned4life I'm sorry for whoever hurt you but eventually you'll realize that while SOME transgressions CAN be unforgiveable in some sense, bearing grudges and hatred does nothing for your life in the long-run and forgiving is a more powerful virtue.
If no one shows anyone any forgiveness then there would be a lot more terrible people around in the world that never had a chance to do any good because people like you never give them a chance to change.

Obviously everyone has their own levels of acceptable forgiveness. But you just sound vindictive.
Personally I'd find it incredibly hard to forgive someone for cheating on me. But saying it would be impossible would be stupid because people can surprise you in ways you never expected just the same as they can hurt you in ways you never expected. Hopefully you grow up one day.

I bet your problem is probably seeing them as potential romantic interests to be pursued. I did that for a long time wondering why I was always alone before I finally got okay with it and now enjoy the friendships I have with the women I've found them with and consider myself lucky to have them in my life in any capacity. Besides, when you become a boyfriend... whenever it ends now, she's gone for good and no longer in your life. At least as friends I know I always have her back and can trust her and vice versa.

Having said that, if I started dating someone and they cheated on someone in the past, I'd certainly want to know. It wouldn't change who they are now in my eyes, but it would certainly impact my expectations of future behavior and I think that's 100% fair.
Doesn't matter who it is they'd have to earn my trust no matter what. Someone who's done something to someone in the past would have to work harder for it and I think that's fair. You want to change and atone for past mistakes? Prove it. EARN it.
