Don't dump him for being rude; that will likely be the least of your problems. And if it's based on this single thing, the more likely you can be convinced to forgive being rude.

Dump him and stay far away because there's a litany of red flags that tell you all you need to know. A person can be rude and forgiven. But more concerning than rude behavior is acting like it was for a good cause.

Being an ass can be due to a bad mood. But testing/manipulating someone is not related in any way to mood. It's more related to compulsion and severe psychological issues.

If your relship is new and he's already manipulating you like this, just imagine how much more insidious it will be down the road and how much he's going to cause you hurt once he knows he can get away with it.

For your sake I hope that never happens and you avoid him like the plague
