I will prefer that the careers be different. It allows for us to somehow learn from each other. I mean, it creates more interest and diversity or variety or spice.
Nah Every batman needs an Alfred in other words while I’m out here fighting for our survival someone needs to be cleaning the crib, washing my boxers, and cooking what’s the point in us both slaving 9-5 she shouldn’t even be thinking about a career path

No that would be boring in my opinion. Plus I’d feel like we would never have our own life aside from our own little bubble because we would just never be able to just escape from each other if that makes any sense? I’d want us both to have separate careers and separate things to do whenever we’re not with each other.
Men & women aren't the same. Women typically want & need more emotional support. So imagine if you both have a stressful job... not only do you have your stress but she will expect you to shoulder some of hers. It's a bad combo.
It doesn't matter to me. However, my husband and I are both teachers, but we don’t work together. I would not want to work at the same location together.
No. Truthfully I would prefer her to have a different career. Having 2 cops as parents significantly increases the chances of a child becoming an orphan. I would like for her to be military, something medical, an attorney or a teacher.
Absolutely not. I dont want to face compitition in the work place and come home to more compitition. A home is a man's castle, where he comes to relax and feel protected.
I’m a server and bartender and my husband works at a warehouse where he packages and ships parts. When he talks about work I have zero idea what he’s talking about but It doesn’t bother me lol
Usually her career is working for me in some form or fashion. Cleaning up my crap, raising my kid, babysitting, housecleaning. Would I date someone in my field? No. What could she possibly do for me?

Always good with synergies but no I would prefer if she has another set of skills than mine.
Majority of people i date are medical, but i have no preference.

Not at all but I want him to be as successful as me.
No, she is in healthcare and I work in education and IT.
It's not necessary.
I'm a cop. My husband is an attorney. He doesn't like criminal law, though. He does trust and estate planning.
So our careers are very different.

I don't mind same field, but I'd rather he's not in the same career.

My husband has a career that is vastly different from mine. I didn’t marry his job, I married him.
Oh god no. I want to marry an engineer or virgin porn star librarian or something. Not another Lawyer.
Absolutely not. I dont want to face compitition in the work place and come home to more compitition. A home is a man's castle, where he comes to relax and feel protected.
As long as we don't work in the same place I don't care too much
no i don’t care what a girl does for work as long as it’s not a porn star or something lol
Different career... please!
And reason why?
