There ought to have had initial attraction, that is later enhanced by knowing someone, you can’t grow or enhance some non existent attraction. There is a difference between someone who’s attracted but playing had to get and someone isn’t interested but gives in because of other factors e. g. financial stability, getting into a relationship because you got pregnant when drunk by a ‘stranger’ etc.
