Guy's Behavior

The guy I developed feelings for told me awhile back that he’s not looking for a relationship but I still caught feelings for him, what can I do?

This guy (who’s also my friend) I dm him awhile back on Instagram because he seamed cool and I would like to get to know him, he was super nice about it; yet, he told me he’s not looking for a relationship at the moment but is down to be my friend. Months later, I found him on Snapchat unexpectedly than we started talking a lot.

I started to develop feelings for him than I realized he doesn’t want to date because he said that he needs to work on himself but he seamed interested and loves chatting with me at lot. He would make excuses to text me every other day.

We also talked about hanging out one day. Few months later, I noticed now that he doesn’t reach out anymore or he ends the conversation early. Should I move on? I feel like I should of left it alone but I feel too dumb to know my worth.
