How to get space from girlfriend?

I very often crave being alone, and after work i have become accustomed to putting on noise cancelling headphones and decompressing for a few hours.

Because of some unforseen events my girlfriend has now moved in with me and my roommates, so she is always there. She can't work and has an incredibly small social circle.

Is there a way to ask for space without it raising red flags or causing a misunderstanding or hurt feelings? Im lost.

It isn't electronic communication. Just that she is always home. she's always right there unless im at work.

Yep and mine now works from home so even when I’m in for moment she’s there. I work late now…I get it.
