Whether it's possible or not shouldn't be the question...
Is it fair to stay in a long term relationship with someone you don't really love? Do they not deserve to be with someone that really loves them? And then too, the question could be why would you want to be with someone you don't love? Unless you're using them for support, which is even more wrong

That's basically what happened to me, I was in a toxic relationship for almost 7 years but I was too scared too leave, while that was going on I fell in love with someone else, I eventually found the strength to leave the toxic relationship and asked out the guy I was in love with, we have been together for 6 months now
