My ex girlfriend broke up with me a little over 2 weeks ago saying that she loves me but she was not in a position to start a relationship in the first place and now she’s feeling like we rushed into the relationship. We met up the other day for the first time after 2 weeks we both admitted to missing each other a lot and that we both still have feelings for each other. But we agreed that getting back together is not an option and we agreed to stay friends. We setup some boundaries for example not hanging out just the two of us and stop asking each other’s best friends about how the other one is doing etc. I was doing fine until she sent me a snap the other day cuddling the blanket I bought for her and the caption said “ you definitely sprayed ur cologne on this” and when I asked are you complaining she said no l. That made me really happy and even tho I am not sure if I wanna get back together I really miss the intimacy we had and I want that back. Help a brother out.

Don’t buy into that bro. If she already said she’s not ready for a relationship then you need to let her go. The only reason she’s reaching out now is because she misses your attention. Girls live on attention. She’s probably thinking “oh crap I made a big mistake cuz now that we’re friends and already set up boundaries, there’s no way I can get attention like before.” So this is a very mild introduction to trying to lure you into giving her what she wants without breaking the so called “boundaries”. She’ll begin leading you on and making you think you’ll get back together. And then you won’t cuz she’ll say how much she likes being friends. When really she’s just using you as a friend and that’s wrong. And when girls do that they also deceive themselves. They say they don’t want a relationship but then lead a guy on for months.
