My boyfriend is too comfortable being broke and needy?

We have a lot of chemistry but the fact that he is constantly asking me for stuff (I’m a single mom of one) that he should be able to do for himself. I helped him get moved into his apartment, drive him to stores when he needs to go, etc and he’ll constantly ask me for things from my house that by now he should be able to get himself. I feel like now I have two children and I am completely turned off by a man who doesn’t do things for himself… how should I bring this up? I want a man… not a man child… how can I end this relationship? I feel so bad but I have too much going on in my life between work, school, and being a mother to my ONE child..

But what is he doing and how old is he? Is he like 30 years old and working in Amazon as a courier or being a wage slave at McDonald's? There was a time i was living paycheck to paycheck and didn't have enough money for food.

He’s 28. Makes $15 an hour. I only care about him asking things of me when I have a household of my own to look after and it’s almost like he expects me to do these things for him when we talk. If I don’t drive to him every day or pick him up, we would not see each other.. I am making all of the effort. I just want him to take initiative and take control of his own life rather than depend on me.. I have my own child and I support my sister and her two kids financially. She helps with childcare so I can work and go to school. All this stuff I do for him.. I can’t help but think he’s taking away from my household and not adding very much to my life. It sucks because he’s a really good dude.. just too dependent on me.
