Fostering meaning that they take care of children in the foster care system for a limited amount of time (usually infants and young children). They get paid to foster children, which varies by state and need, but they don't usually care for the children long term unless they adopt them. Tiktok keeps recommending me foster care videos, many being old couples or single foster parents.
