What should I do show them the proof first then ask or ask them and then show proof or try to work it out?

Do you have the proof? If so, I would update the question using the update box to change spouse to “ex” as that is what it should be now. Why in the world would you even consider being with someone that cheated, no matter how brief the affair?

This would be instant divorce for me. No questions asked and no presentation of facts or proof (if I had it). Now, that is the next thing. What proof do you have if you don’t mind my asking?

That is very important because proof is tangible evidence and not speculation. Depending on what your “proof” is will determine whether you are speculating or have hard evidence.

If you can elaborate on that part, it may help myself and other users give better answers. After all, there is very little context that you give other than you have proof.

I just want to make sure it isn’t you guessing or thinking they did without actual hard evidence. That would be a mistake. I will revise my answer accordingly if you care to update or reply to my opinion.

If someone cheats on you I am a firm believer they do not care about you, they have zero respect for you and they don't care about the relationship they have with you and they didn't care about hurting you because if they loved you or they cared about you or had any kind of respect they wouldn't have cheated. They would never have hurt you.

If someone cheats on you just once, they will do it again or a least be tempted to do it and do you want to be in a relationship where that person has broken your trust and where you'll be constantly wondering if the girl he is talking to if he is cheating on you with her.

Show him the proof and tell him you are done with his cheating ass and walk away. Find a guy who will keep it in his pants and will be faithful to you. This guy does not deserve you or your love.

Ok, so it sounds like you've got proof. You can call it quits, but honestly guys who women find attractive will likely cheat at some point. If you want a guy who would never cheat, then get an ugly/ fat dude.

Having said that, you can work this out but chances are there is an issue in the relationship. I don't know what your sex life is like, but it's either not often enough, or maybe you let yourself go? I don't know, but cheating doesn't happen when there isn't an issue.

Never set people up to lie. It's not in anyone's best interest. Let's say your kid comes out of the kitchen with icing all over his face, do you feel he's more likely to accept accountability if you ask "Did you get in the cookie jar?" or if you say "It looks like someone got in the cookie jar." Present him with the facts and then just say "Care to comment?"
