1.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. There are no stupid jobs, only stupid people and those people that think that one cannot date a welder is one of them.
Give me one single valid reason why a welder cannot be dated? I personally don't.
Why would it be okay to date a financier but not a welder? Is it because a welder does not wear fancy clothes or perhaps does not make a five digit monthly income? If those are the requirements to date a person holding a specific occupation, then I guess that most laborers are updateable.

+1 yI would totally date a female welder/fabricator (or a male one) if I really liked them. I’m not stuck up like that.

Yes and I did when I was in Job Corps. Also in general I would prefer to date a woman that has more of a blue collar job then anything else. Because from my experience they tend to be a hell of a lot less prissy and very much anti-drama. Compared to other women I have dated. So they can really, really score high marks in the personality department.

+1 yIt's not the welding that is the issue it's the masculine energy that she might possess in doing that job that would turn a man off. If she can be feminine when she gets home and not chewing tobacco and throwing back budweisers like a man... then sure lol

I have no interest in women with masculine attitudes and energies, but having this kind of job doesn't automatically mean that she has those - though it wouldn't be uncommon. Like anyone else, I would evaluate her on an individual level.

+1 ySure, if I wasn't already married. Aw, heck- sure- I have a chair on which the brace needs to be rewelded, anyway.
But seriously, folks - - - - - Of course. I'd even welcome some lessons. I've brazed (not too well, but I DID braze). My grandpa taught me to solder when I was about 12. But I never learned to weld: if might make for some interesting dates. Just so long as we didn't have to wear our helmets on the date.
10 Reply 1.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Yes I would in a heartbeat because in order to fabricate anything you have to understand it you have to have that knowledge of how it works you invent a lot of things a lot of times and I love to weld and fabricate things myself so yes so yes I would

My welding isn't the greatest, so it would be great to have someone that would have the right equipment and knowhow.
A plus if she is great at TIG welding.

00 ReplyProbably not. I'd probably be too dismissive of her not being more theoretical and more of a proper engineer.

+1 yDating a female welder is a mistake. She chose the job because she likes being totally surrounded by rough men... I speak from experience as I was a welder for a short time.
