I would use buddy or beautiful to describe a guy but I'm single. I know beautiful is usually used for girls but two of the last three guys I liked were very tall and slim so beautiful would fit them.

I called my ex the cringiest names out there. I find “honey” and “sweetie” a bit too generic. I prefer creating nicknames by myself as time goes on - it could even be based on an inside joke!
I called my ex bubba, boo boo and hot stuff. He didn’t seem to mind it, lol. Looking back, our whole relationship was probably more middle school than a middle school relationship. (We dated in high school) 🤣
my love standard words specifically determine a special word only the people in the relationship.
In the meantime, I would appreciate it if you could comment on my question.
My own name. The pet names remind me of the way some southern US women that you don't really even know sometimes speak to you (waitresses etc.) with the "what can I get for you hon, or sweetie, whatever...

That's too much of an individualized thing for us to answer. I've been called babe, baby, babu, honey, cutie pie, honeybun, sweetheart and a lot of other things; it's just about whatever feels comfortable in the moment.
Babe, Baby, Honey, Sweetheart, or a creative and unique name that you can think of. But just make sure he actually likes the name before you call him that.
I like to be called "Big dicked monster destroyer of worlds and slayer of vaginas"
But I'll settle for vagina slayer.
If not something humorous than my name.
I had a funny call sign in the military and my girlfriend thought it was hilarious and used it often. Current fiancé uses babe and I’m not upset but I rather not…My real name works, or any of the terms of endearment: dear, honey etc. And I don't mind being called "Stud" ... once in awhile.
When I'm in relationship I'd call my boyfriend my love (if I love him of course) or I'd make up a word to call him.
Generally, if he's going to be given a nickname by his woman, it should be something masculine and strong. Guys don't want "cute" nicknames.
This is such a great question. My wife has never been much for cutesy nicknames but I manage to earn "jackass" fairly often.
In terms of endearment? I don't like being called hun or baby or luv much but would be ok with it. I would like my man.
Abdullah. My love. Nu, that’s all I can think of. I find baby, sweetie-pie, cutie-patootie, honey, etc a bit weird. Animal names like dog, tiger, etc I find nice.
As long as it comes from her heart... Anything is music to my ears..
My first name works pretty well.
If you use someone else's name I might not respond.
She calls me with various sweet names everytime. It feels better whatever the name be when she is in mood.
Honestly it is something both in the relationship talk about and consent to... but the universal one is "hon", "honey", & "babe"
