Is the ✨️spark✨️ necessary for relationships?

People say the spark is love, others say anxiety. I just want to know if you guys think the spark is needed in longterm loving relationships.

I think spark is an overexaggerated childish way of trying to say "attraction". But there has to be attraction in order for two people to really miss each other. You can "love" someone that you're not romantically attracted to. Yes, it is possible. But it just takes a long time. Believe it or not, people placed in arraigned marriages usually end up loving and being attached to each other after many years of marriage. Data also shows that arraigned marriages tend to be more resilient and long lasting than romance marriages. As you can already see by the western world's 50% divorce rate. Feelings are fickle. Just as you can fall in love, you can also fall out of love.

Absolutely. I would not have wasted their or my time without it. That natural passion makes all the difference.

Yes, of course! But it doesn't automatically happen on Day 1. Sometimes people can catch the Spark after meeting for the 4th or 5th time. The Spark has a mind of its own. The Spark does what the Spark wants to do. You can't control it, corral it, nor contain it.

Spark is necessary if you are looking for a relationship. Without the spark of attraction, you'll just be making a new friend. The spark is what's supposed to leave us intrigued and wanting to know more about that person.
