No, they're just a basic layer of a very complex interconnected system. It won't give you the whole picture of a how a person expresses and feels loved, but it'll give you an idea. A bad place to stop, but not a bad place to start.

No, they're not. Some people just have a hard time understanding and/or coming to terms with the fact that they have to take responsibility for their relationships and work together to fix them. Personally, I find learning about them has been really insightful, not only in romance but in parental and sibling relationships too.

I don't think so but like anything all humans are not the same so they are more of a general thing and not as much specific.
