Usually the only reason this would happen is because the one not dancing either doesn't want to, is too tired or thinks they suck and wants to stop.

It is better for this, than to tell your partner they can't dance anymore, that crosses into controlling.

Besides nothing is going to happen if they are being watched.

I am usually the one that can go and go and go and no one can keep up with me.

I would ask my wife if any other girl/woman is involved. Things should be clear between us. I don't want any problems, you know. It is a good thing I am not that good a dancer, and I don't look good too. So no problem for dancing specifically.

But I would just ask my wife for anything involving any other woman. I am not married, but that is definitely something I would do on a priority basis.

Totally fine. In fact, go for it. I'll slow dance or ballroom dance with my wife. Love that. But I suck badly at other dancing and it isn't fun for me. If she can have fun and there's someone willing to have fun with her? Go for it and I will buy them drinks.

It really depends I'm a Spaniard myself and I will go to Spanish parties and it's not unheard of for each other to swap partners to dance with everyone keeps it clean you have to be an extremely confident and not the jealous type person or you will have problems but I take dance classes and I go to parties and I've danced with other men's wives in it at the time if I brought a woman I let him dance with mine it's just part of the culture.
