I don't think my wife and I give a shit enough about small things to push against each other in the wrong way. I think our biggest conflict was the subject of "flirting" being okay. I won that one being proven right that it isn't helpful to a committed relationship. I just hate that I had to win it so many times to finally get it through her thick skull that being an attention whore isn't okay.

Now arguments have been reduced to things like her not paying attention while driving. She almost hit a couple walking across the street and if I hadn't of been sitting there to pull a hand brake and turn the wheel... that would've been two dead or at least hurt... which gives me nightmares because of the price tag on that. I'm being firm on pointing out the phone is to be ignored when driving. It can ring all it wants, I never touch it. Whoever needs to text right then and there doesn't really matter unless it is worthy of me pulling into a parking lot, so I can read and respond. Now that I'm thinking about it... those fucking phones. She can't even just chill in a restaurant without clacking away on that fucking phone. Tell me that shit isn't addicting. Her addiction to it is so hard that she can't understand how I can ignore facebook messages from my life long best friend and my Mom at the same time simply because I don't feel like it right now. She goes into a panic about it and it's not even her messages. Makes me throw the phone at her and tell her to read it to me then because I'm busy playing Dying Light 2 right now. I can't let them bother me when I'm trying to kill a zombie!
